2023 Sea, Air, & Space Challenge
The Coast Guard Marathon, Air Force Marathon, and Space Force T-Minus 10-Miler have joined forces to create the innovative, first-of-its-kind cross-race challenge! Earn this American made Sea, Air, & Space Challenge medal by completing the Coast Guard Marathon, Air Force Marathon, and Space Force T-Minus 10-Miler. You must complete any distance offered in-person, virtually, or a combination of the two in 2023.

2023 Sea, Air, & Space Challenge Medal
Important Details:
- For $35, sign up for the Sea, Air, & Space Challenge. (Registration is now closed.)
- Runners must also separately register for and participate in one race of any length at the Coast Guard Marathon, Air Force Marathon, and Space Force T-Minus 10-Miler.
- In-person and virtual options are available for all races.
- Challenge medals will be shipped upon completion of all three of the 2023 events.
- Domestic, FPO, APO, DPO shipping is included. International shipping is an additional $25. Please add international shipping as an item to your order if your address is outside of the United States.
- Registration is now open through February 19 for the in-person Coast Guard Marathon or March 3 for the virtual Coast Guard Marathon and Sea, Air, & Space Challenge.
- Registration is now open for the 2023 Air Force Marathon events.
- Registration will open May 4 for the Space Force T-Minus 10-Miler.

Coast Guard Marathon
The Coast Guard Marathon will take place March 3-4, 2023 in Elizabeth City, N.C. and will include a race expo, full marathon, half marathon, 5K race, Semper Paratus Challenge and post-race celebration. It will be the military branch’s second in person race following its launch as a virtual event in 2021. The race is a Boston Marathon qualifier and is set to be among the flattest marathon courses in the U.S.
Air Force Marathon
The 27th annual Air Force Marathon will be held September 14-16, 2023 at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. First held in 1997 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the U.S. Air Force, the race has grown to welcome more than 13,500 participants from all fifty states and several countries. The 2022 race weekend will have five distance races including a marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K, Tailwind Trot 1K Kids’ Run, as well as a three-person marathon relay and two Fly! Fight! Win! Challenge Series. The marathon course is a Boston Marathon qualifier packed with historic aviation sites. Registration will open November 28, 2022.
Space Force T-Minus 10-Miler
The Space Force T-Minus 10-Miler will take place December 9, 2023 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. This second annual event celebrates the fourth anniversary of the branch focused on global space operations and features a 10 mile race and finish line festival. With warm December weather and a flat terrain, the course offers a great opportunity to set a personal best or train for longer events. Registration will open May 4, 2023.
