Join us on the evening of Thursday, May 13th for a family-friendly one-miler event open to all abilities! Beginning at Memorial Park just outside the National Museum of the United States Air Force, the Museum Mile course winds throughout the grounds of the museum before finishing under the wing tips of vintage aircraft at the Air Park. In addition, a women’s and men’s elite race will also be held after the open race at approximately 7:10 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. respectfully.

Participant Amenities

All Museum Mile finishers will receive a commemorative finisher item and finish line refreshments.

Rules & Regulations

Time Limit: the one mile course will be open for 30 minutes.
Safety on the Course: no animals, no bicycles, no scooters, no inline skates, and no wheeled vehicles will be allowed on the course. Strollers and baby joggers will be allowed.

Bib Pick-Up & Race Day Registration

Bib pick-up and race day registration will be held at Memorial Park on race day, May 13th, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. You must present a valid photo ID to pick up your bib.

Results & Awards

Results will be available on this page the morning following the race. The elite athlete field is eligible for awards. Therefore, the top three overall male and female elite athlete finishers will receive New Balance Dayton gift certificates. For more information about participating as an elite athlete, please see section below.

Elite Athletes

To compete as an elite athlete, you must have a qualifying time. Please email us at usaf.marathon@us.af.mil with proof of time from an event that occurred within the past year. All entries must be approved by the Race Director. If your entry is accepted, an e-mail will be sent to you with a code to register. Deadline to apply as an Elite Athlete is May 3rd, 2021.

Elite Entry Standards
Men – 4:50 or faster
Women – 5:30 or faster

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer opportunities are available during the evening event on Thursday, May 13th, 2021. Details will be announced at a later date.
