Lower Extremity Amputee Running Clinic

with Grace Norman and Optimus Prosthetics

As part of our 2019 Expo, we are excited to offer a free running clinic for lower extremity amputees. This clinic focuses on basics and performance for lower extremity amputees wanting to improve their running skills.

Paralympic gold medalist Grace Norman will be there to provide instruction for experienced amputee runners who want to improve their technique. Gait specialist and physical therapist Andrea Kinsinger from Optimus Prosthetics will be there to provide training for those interested in beginning running. Optimus Prosthetics in Dayton, Ohio is the provider for Grace’s prosthetics.

The clinic will take place on both days of the expo. It is located in the Berry Room on the third floor of the WSU Nutter Center.

Session times:

Thursday, September 19th, 4:30-6:00 pm

Friday, September 20th, 12:00-1:30 pm

Lower extremity amputees who want to participate must register in advance by Wednesday, September 11th by clicking the Register Now! button above. Registration is free, and all registrants also get a free t-shirt from Optimus Prosthetics.
